where have steve gone?

While I was watching my nephew watching blues clues, I wonder whatever happened to Steve (‘coz we were currently watching the episode when Steve introduce Joe to Blue). I’ve heard rumors about steve being depressed and have dreadfully committed.. suicide.
Time for blue’s clues, don’t you think? But I don’t need a handy dandy notebook. I just searched for clues through the ever resourceful mr.google and found out that Steve have denied that he have committed suicide. He decided to pursue his dream and become a rockstar which is far from being the owner of Blues.

my hubby said blue’s clues look very different now that steve is gone. he prefers steve rather than joe. i haven’t watched the show lately since i was transferred to graveyard shift.
